Dr. Lily Mesa is a native Californian; she was raised in Santee by her parents along with her two siblings.  She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.  She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine form Washington State University in 2002.  While attending Washington State Dr. Mesa was involved with several outreach programs including the Universities Multicultural Agriculture Program and WSU Community Practice Services.  Dr Mesa was also a research Assistant with the School for Global Animal Health studying Lyme disease and E Coli in animals.
After graduation she practiced in large and small animal clinics, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of veterinary clinical, surgical and emergency care.  These experiences showed her the need of some dog and cat owners to have quality care without the difficulty of a traditional hospital visit.

Mesa Mobile Veterinary Services was created out of Dr. Mesa’s desire to offer quality compassionate care to her clients and their pets in the comfort of their own homes.
